I have a little more than a few questions for you fish experts!? please read!!!?
you really dont need a bubbler that doesnt anything it wont hurt any thing to use it just make sure you get a gang valve with a back flow device (if power is lost to the air pump it could drain the tank) questions 1-4 you need to get a liquid test kit that tests for ammonia nitrite and nitrates. api sells them in single or in master kits the strips do not work well and give wrong readings a master kit thats what i use cost around 20 bucks and will last a year or so with bi weekly testing. 5. 6.and 7. your stock is good. 8. you dont need to worry about ph i dont even bother with none of my tanks. some fish do need a certain ph level but tetras can get used to ph very easy. 9. they are tropical fish so 75 degrees f to 80 degrees f will be fine for them.10. and 11. ph dont worry about slow acculmation will be enough to adjust to ph (this is what i do for new fish clip the bag to side of tank opened of course take a 1/4 cup of water out of back put in a seperate bowl take a 1/4 cup out of tank put it in the bag repeat this every 15 minutes for 2 hours when that is done take the fish out of the bag and place them in the tank do not mix bag water with your tank water, prevent cross contamination of tank water). you have to watch you ammonia nitrites and nitrates while you cycle and while doing water changes. nitrites and ammonia should be 0 ppm on the readings for your nitrates should be under 10 ppm that is what your tank needs for a proper cycle and everyday keeping of fish to maintain proper water chemicals.adding only chlorine remover will be needed the rest of it is wasted money there is no chemical that will make your tank cycle instant or any faster. more chemicals added the more problems you could have when i quit adding chemicals my tanks were easier to deal with. 12. you can have a fish tank in front of window you can not have direct sun light on your tank that will cause algae problems. 13. if it more than a year old dont use it buy new food.14. there are different ways to do this go here this was wrote buy hands on fish keepers and breeders a href="http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/" rel="nofollow"http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums//a it is free just need a email address 15. breeding 3 types of shrimp each type has 3 tanks all are 20 gallon 1 male tank 1 female tank and 1 grow out tank keeping a good gene pool for my shrimp. 1- 75 gallon tank with t5 3x54 watt light live plants co2 pressurized system. 1- 55 gallon, 2- 30 gallon, 2- 20 gallon, 2-10 gallon. keeping angels, skirts, cardinals, betas, neons, platies, serpaes, tiger barbs, green tiger barbs, diamond head neon, albino red fin shark, tiger plecos, discuss, american flag fish, rainbows, guariums, flame drawf a mixture of live or fake plants in all my tanks for got about snails pest type and 12 in snails to keep pest snails in check and cherry, blue, yellow, and ghost shrimp in tanks pending on what fish are in what tank
