What's up w/ all this North Face jacket craze in Chicago?

ok, so i see a lot of ppl wearing those weird jackets that have a turtle-neck. is it like the new fashion going on? i mean, colombia jackets are better, plus, they don't cost as much as those north faces! no offense to those who have them, but I think this North Face crazy-thing is ridiculous! why don't they just spend the money they are wasting on things that benefit our earth? like, seriously, what were they thinking when they bought such a useless jacket?
