Help. friend trouble with scarf?

so me and my friend went to the mall last week. btw we are in junior high. she wanted to look in limited too so we looked. i was gonna get a cute yellow and white striped scarf but then she showed me the blue and white one. so i got that one. and then in the store she was like uhhh i should have never told you about it, i want it. so i said fine get it. then she got it and now she has been wearing it to school and i cant wear it to school now because everyone will think i copied!!! its so annoying. & i cant return it because i dont have the reciet!! what should i do? i was thinkin about just wearing it too but not too school just outside and for regular. btw its made of fleece so not that warm only for cute fashion.
