Me and my dream last night?

What can this mean? My family and I was fishing on our camping trip. When lots of us was sitting or laying around sunbathing. When all of a sudden their were Alligators all around us. My daughter said this morning if we see something in really life like on tv we dream this. Just wondering what this could be about it still scares me now that IM up. Freaky!
