Explain the difference between genotype and phenotype , using an example?

Genotype is the genetic information that codes for the phenotype, and the phenotype is the traits that something has. For example a flower may have the genotype Rr that leads to the phenotype of a pink flower, the genotype RR a red flower, and the genotype rr a white flower. This is also an example of incomplete dominance!
