3 year old son has been acting weired lately after he gets home from daycare...?

My 3 year old son has been in the same daycare for two years and they daycare ladies absolutely adore him. Well lately after i pick him up and when my hubby gets home his dad and hubby tries to play with him he refuses and just covers his crouch up and starts to cry. Well my motherly instincts are telling me someone at his daycare is abusing him but at the same time i don't want to believe that because i have known all of the people that work there 5+ years and if one of them is abusing my son i don't know what i would do. Well i took the day off today and kept my son home and he is happy as can be. So its just reinforcing my fears altogether but i don't know what to do or where to go from here, Advice?
