Why are creationists still denying evolution?

There is a heck of a lot of proof for evolution. Wisdom teeth, appendixes, chromosome fusion, and a +98% of DNA similarity between chimps and humans are just some of the many pieces of evidence for human evolution alone. The fossil record, plate tectonics, all the measures for dating the Earth, and even the universe itself all go for evolution (stars are not thousands of light years away from us, but instead, millions, and billions). There's even so called "missing link" fossils between species as well, like the one discovered in 2004, a href="http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2008/10/081015-tiktaalik-evolution-missions.html" rel="nofollow"http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/…/a So what's not to accept? Do you creationists think that the evidence isn't good enough or is it just complete ignorance and denial? If you are a creationist, or a person who accepts intelligent design, what motivates you to deny the thousands of evidence for evolution? What evidence do you have to support your "theories" that will convince me and the rest of the majority of scientists to go for creationism? Just a couple of sincere questions. ^_^
