IB Business IA HL research question?

I need to do my business IA (HL) IB, my idea is that Company Y is going to open next to company X and they both do the same thing, thus i want to suggest a certain marketing strategy that company X can use in order to maintain their current market share. any suggestions of the best way I can Rephrase my research question?
